Vibrant Performance SFWD Shootout presented by Eat Sleep Race and BWR at the 16th Annual Sport Compact Fall Nationals

On October 5th and 6th Englishtown Raceway Park, along with Ortega Global Solutions, is proud to bring to you the 16th Annual Sport Compact Fall Nationals.

The fastest, front wheel drive only, class at the event will be SFWD Class. This class consists of turbocharged front wheel drive vehicles running in the low 9’s and into the high 8’s. This class will feature some of the fastest SFWD cars in the country, competing for a $12,000 purse!!!

We are very proud to be able to bring to you the largest payout ever in the history of the SFWD class. This is made possible by our sponsors Vibrant Performance, Eat Sleep Race and BWR.

The payout will be structured as follows;
Winner - $5,000
Runner-Up - $2,000
Semi-Finalist - $650
¼ Finalist - $450
1/8 Finalist - $250

16 cars are required for a full payout.

The class rules are as follows;
For 4 & 6 cylinder Import/Sport Compacts. "SFWD Trim”.
Must have 2 front seats & interior panels. No rear seats – OK. Open exhaust, 3 piece fronts, & fuel cell – OK.
NO gutted-out cars, lexan, water to air intercoolers or 1 piece front ends. Max Tire 25 x 9.0.
72mm maximum inducer turbo size (Max 102mm exd-billet, 105mm exd-cast. Up to 67mm exd 94mm).
Up to 2 Power adders allowed (combo OK).
Minimum weights: 67mm and smaller – 2200lbs. Up to 72mm – 2400lbs
.400 Pro Tree, 16 car - Pro Ladder.

Tech Card cost will be $250. This will cover the car and the driver.

Race teams that pre-register by no later than 11:59 pm on Monday, September 30, 2013 will receive two additional crew passes for the event at no additional charge. Contact ogstech@gmail.com to pre-register.

The tentative schedule will be two qualifying rounds on Saturday, October 5th and one qualifying round on Sunday, October 6th

speed factory could only run the blue coupe right because of tire and size and front end correct that the hatch dont have. i dont think they were going to change the setup on that car

That's a crazy payout for just one class! Even better is if you qualify, you get your tech card money back. I'm curious to see where the bump is at for this event!

I think James should come out with a 67mm and see what he can do . On a serious note I do not believe that they will be changing the entire car to run one event. So, I think he will be running with the crazy *** rear wheel drive guys in Quick 32! It would be cool to see some of the old hotrod guys come and join him.

word on the streets is that speedfactory is coming to sweep the east coast with the vibrant performance civic coupe, as well as the competition clutch civic hatch back, both in SFWD trim.

We can't wait for this event to come! It will be great to see all our east coast friends and customers at the race. We plan on bringing 3 cars, just not sure yet what classes they might be in...
