Spring perch groove.
hey guys. I installed my koni yellows with tein springs Sunday and went to torque the bolts yesterday and realized one of the spring perch where the spring fits in the notch is towards the engine side rather than to the fender.
Is it okay this way or not?
And if not, I know this question might sound retarded... Can compress the spring while it's on the car to turn the perch around with the spring to the outside and then take the compressors off?
I had help last time and the fork bolt was a ***** to get back in. I had to be pressing the hub down to line it up and i kinda don't want go through that **** again.

Re: Spring perch groove.
It's a 98 civic ex... The front shocks... The piece the bottom the spring sits on. The indent the end of the spring seat. In other words I can see the bottom end on the spring as it's facing the engine.

I think you need to install it correctly. If it doesn't look right it aint right.
I can pull a shock/spring assembly out a Civic in under 15 minutes so I don't where where there's that much work involved.
