Default radiator fan question.

i just took out all my A/C components and removed the one fan located directly in front of my header.

my question is: what do i do with the left over connectors/plugs and section of harness im not using ever again?
can i just cut the wires and cap them off?

do i need to rig something up so that my other fan is still operational?
or should it (under normal circumstances) still operate normally?

i know a lot of guys do the half size radiator and use one fan; and there are a few write up on it. they just never say what type of wiring is done (or needed)
i still have the one fan connected how it was before i took all the other **** out. it just doesnt seem to turn on now.
and before i ripped the stuff out, that fan would turn on, sometimes even when the engine wasnt running. (with the key in the ignition, of course)

is there somethinmg i'm missing? or something i need to do, to get this thing wired correctly?

I thought the engine fan only worked off temperature. Unless the A/C fan being out leaves an incomplete circuit which is possible since both come on with A/C on. So my guess is your going to have & figure which wires complete the circuit & jumper them. I wouldn't cut wiring out. What if by chance you decide to sell it. Just a thought.

It is actually a harness.
You can remove it since you won't be using A/C again.
It will lead up to the passenger headlight where you get to remove a relay, and then in through the firewall where it connects near the ECU as well as to the switch on the dash console.

As far as your radiator fan, it shouldn't be turning on with the key removed.
You can test the fan circuit by grounding the YLW/GRN wire that goes to the radiator fan relay.
It should also turn on when the engine gets over a cetain temp - the coolant temp switch on the YLW/GRN wire closes when hot and provides ground.

Thanks a lot 4drEF. That wiring diagram is awesome!
Also had no idea the ac fan had it's own harness. Thought it was part of the entire engine harness. Great info. Thanks again man.

if you're sitting in traffic and generating minimal airflow it still doesn't overheat?
i would think sitting in traffic, just idling, would be your worst enemy.
