Re: DirtyDA9's Dirty DB1 Build Thread!
I dont mind the cold that much, its just the fact that I still have a blood clot in my thumb so I cant let it get cold, it sucks, I know.
But I finished cleaning up the harness and got it all soldered. I hate wiring, I did a fuse box relocation on my DSM and I had to extend every wire in the harness so there had to be 2 soldered spots in each wire, so there was like 200 soldered spots total, so now every time I have to solder something I want to kill something, like a baby seal.

**** dude, that sounds like **** (having to do all that soldering)
I hate wiring too. I'm so glad that despite the rest of my car being a hack job (well, mostly it was just the engine area that was a hack job)
no one fucked with the wiring. And after I replaced my engine harness it's basically all factory without anything cut. My radio harness was hacked, so I had to splice my new stereo into the cut up stubbles and run new speaker wire. But that's not too bad.

Well, since your junking it, you wouldn't by any change have those side bolsters for the rear seats would you? lmfao >_> though you'll probably give them to DirtyDA9

I've always loved the 2nd gen body. I'm trying to find a 4 door so I can swipe the wife's 2 door and get rid of my first gen gsx dsm

Why gat rid of a 1g DSM? They had the 6 bolt z (unless a 94), so it shouldnt be too unreliable lol.
NewCarScent, I would also like the rear speaker thing that sits right behind the rear seat head rests and between those and the rear window.

It is a six bolt. I just don't like the way it rides, it still feels too much like a boat to me.picked up from a guy for 600 bucks it didn't run, but I fixed it in his drive way and drove it home.

Re: DirtyDA9's Dirty DB1 Build Thread!
id love to give it a good home. its a pretty nice car. if someone was willing to give it some tlc but i got too many projects, id like to get the wife a four door teg and take her da as a daily driver. actually not to steal the thread, but i got a wierd problem with the gsx. no matter what i do to try to get the clutch to slip while the car is still, it wont, but at like 3500 rpm under heavy throttle, the rpm shoot up without increase in speed like the clutch is slipping. it didnt start doing it till i changed a blown head gasket. idkwtf is wrong seems like a clutch, but like i said....
