I need help with my prelude
Okay, So I bought a 1991 prelude si with the b21 engine last week. Well, on monday I was driving to school and the engine blew up outta no where. Put a hole in the block. so, Now I am thinking about either putting a b20, h22, or h23 in it. Could you help me and tell me how hard these swaps would be, what I would need. and any recommendations you have. Thank you so much.

an H swap will cost you a little over 3 grand.
swap in another B20, its direct bolt in and will cost a little over a grand and will last forever. thats what im doing when my B21 goes. you could even re-use your transmission but its easier to take the entire thing out and put a complete fresh one in. then sell the old transmission/head and scrap the block.
Also, when did you buy your lude, and did you ever monitor its oil consumption? I wonder if thats what did it so I can predict my b21's death. lol
