exhaust rattle?

exhaust rattle?
the exhaust on my 97 gsr is completely stock except for a greddy can. whenever i get to about 3300 rpms there is a rattling noise from the resonator behind my cat. there seems to be a small hole in the resonator. how can i get rid of this rattle? if necessary i have a resonator from a 97 prelude i could replace it with. all help is appreciated. thanks guys

Usually the problem is with the down pipe aka A-pipe/Y-pipe. The way it works is there is 2 layers of piping separated by some insulation material. The insulation material wears away and then the pipes rattle on each other.
The two ways to fix it are tac welding the inner pipe so it's centered or just getting a header and downpipe setup. An exhaust shop will tac weld it and fix the hole in the resonator for $20 or less.
