What is the ethanol percentage/content on the 114? I tuned on pump E85 last year, and would just like the piece of mind when it comes to fueling consistency. I am already planning a switch to a dedicated fuel supply like this, just wondering what form will keep my current power level still available with my current pump/injector combo. I am not ready to switch the fuel system up yet, but will be looking at that possibility later in the summer.

Its helped my consistancy a bit. I may have been able to get the same results in the ECU, but I found this to be an easy solution.

years ago i did a C16 vs Q16 vs E98 test and it was like 40~45hp gain from C - Q and 60hp gain from Q - E.. same boost for all fuels (45psi) So in total E98 made 100hp more then C16... The E98 made same power as Q16 with about 5~6lb less boost..

I've been playing around with different mixtures(leaded and unleaded) of ethanol and won't say much about it yet but so far i've made more power with a blended E85 over e98..

Is there much "safety factor" in the tune on the ingnite 114. Compared to some of the higher octain racegas's? Like c16 or c22

If anyone is looking for E-98 by the drum call Glacial Plains Co-op in Benson Mn. Phone number is 800-697-5311 ask for Joel james. They are a ethanol plant. I work very close with Joel and his ethanol is very consistant. He will ship drums of this fuel to all 50 states. I think you will find it alot cheaper than ignite brand. I also have the formula to blend E-98 to E-85 the correct way.

Thank you sir. Looks like a little more pump may be in order unless I mix it with some pump 91 garbage we have here. Stepping up the fuel system is just good safety at this point though. I don't mind it.

What are they mixing it with? That's just as important as how they are mixing it..

My safety factor is running sub 11.0:1 (gas scale) afrs when dialing in. If you hit a lean spot or run out of fuel, it takes alot to get it up over 12.5:1. With your leaner fuels, you are pretty much always running around the 12.0 range without much room to go up or down without losing power.

I have always found the most power up over 12.0 with E85-98, but my headgaskets have been disagreeing with that statement as of late.

Ok thanks. I guess more of what I am asking is it detenation happy if it gets a little lean? We had a situation last year testing a co2 set up on our car and had a accidental 50psi pull way before we was ready. Afr's went around 13.2:1. We logged no detination, and had no issues anywhere. We was using klotz 118 octain and haven't had any det. problems or head gasket issues.

Bump, anybody ever test mixing the ethanol and gas? What were the results? Thinking about E98 and unleaded sunoco 104
