Pick whichever you like better. Just know that neither one of them will yield any performance increase. The only thing you'll notice is more noise coming from under the hood.

A cheap ebay intake with a good filter will do the same thing a name-brand intake does. (next to nothing)

True to what he said /\ /\ /\
But another thing you should keep in mind is that if you buy a cold air intake and your car is lowered that in the rain there is a good chance you will hit a puddle and suck up some water. My buddy did this in his LS Swaped Civic and hydro locked his engine and it blew apart lol

Depend on what you like and make you happy. I prefer short intake so it don't sucks up water. IT wouldn't gain too much Hp thou..

Of all the filters made, I personally think weapon-r, secret weapon is by far the best.

They're all basically the same. Pick whichever one you like the most, and fits your budget.

the shorter + wider diameter or resonated piping will be the loudest. Short ram tend to make more noise at lower rpm and cold air the most obvious at the higher end. Like everyone else said.. almost no legit HP gain, but you will certainly feel like your going places faster.. and you might floor it more lol

It's actually one of the worst out there. The Apexi Power Intake has one of the best (if not the best) filtration out there.

Alright. This may be a stupid question, but I'm still learning. lol

I went to the Apexi site and I can't find a part number for a 2002 Civic EX. Would it be the same as the 02 Si Hatchback?

The reason I'm looking into a new intake is the AEM cold air that I have now needs a new filter and the mounting bracket on it is held on by duct tape. (Previous owner didn't take good care of it. The filter is rusted to hell and I'm not sure why duct tape was his first choice. lol)

You can go to autozone and get the fittings for it, you can buy any other replacement filter as long it matches the pipe size. Here is the replacement filter for AEM CAI.

Apexi never made an intake system for the non-K series Civics. The filter would need to be modified to fit your car properly, no matter what one you purchase.

Buy an ebay intake and throw a nice filter on there as previously said. I've got an AEM dryflow and I like it.

go to ebay find cheapest short ram intake u can find buy for your car then throw a velocity stack on that. this outperforms any of those filters. and a intake doesent make more power it just reliases some that is restrictd cuz of stock. ull feel more if u have more mods.
