Do you mean fuel filter possibly?? Cause the oil filter is connected to the block.

the title is OIL FILTER RELOCATION KIT.
which IS the oil filter. it relocates it to a place easier to reach..
you dont have to have one to have an idea of where to put one..thats all i was asking for was suggestions of places to put the oil filter.

/\/\He wants to relocate the oil filter.

Why do you want to move it OP? Seems like more trouble than it's worth...

well mostly because it would be like a 2 min oil change process and for the bling factor.

how about making a bracket that attaches to the oil pan using the stock bolts and sits the oil filter right there next to the pan but out of the way of moving parts

If you have a cai that creates enough room beside the battery that you could
fit it there, or if you delete your cc there would be enough room to put it there.
Personally i find it easy to replace in the stock location, but if you want to do it
thats two suggestions i can think of. Another option too would be relocating
your battery to make some room.

let me try to find a picture, i put mine right by the passenger side shock tower, i had to move mine, because the return spring plate for the SU's, was right in the way, if you move the filter, get a good oil thermostat and add a cooler at the same time, one thing on most Honda blocks, the spin on filter relocation kits, the center threaded part of the factory location is often too long, I can't remember if you have the oil filter adapter that unbolts from the block, if you do, you will have to shorten up the center threads on it. I just put mine in the mill and shaved some of it down. run good AN lines don't use those plain rubber hoses. let me go take some pictures

I took some pictures of my filter relocation and oil cooler setup, maby this will give you some ideas, pardon the wires everywhere, i'm not done with the car yet, I'm running a forced air oil cooler setup, blower is under the bumper as is the blower intake, it ducts air into a plenum for the cooler, it's controlled by a temp switch in one of the fittings and a Miloden oil thermostat

bosch blower under bumper

air intake

cooler

underside and adapter plate, you can see why i had clearance problems

I'm going to set mines up where the battery use to be. As for clean up put a tray under the filter when I have to take it off and let it drain that way.

like on the firewall side of the oil pan just below the original place.thats actually a bad *** idea, itd would be hidden to.
lostforawhile: thats a really cool setup. i bet it works really well but i havent planned for an oil cooler. where u have it though was one of my original places i was going to put it too.
bling factor was kinda a joke too btw.
