Hi guys,

Its been about 4 years since I posted last, but I need some help with my wifes '99 CRV.

I installed a JVC deck, and since then have had a SRS light on.

Here's whats happened, and what Ive tried:


Resetting the light with the jumper on the SRS plug.

I've tried diagnosing the light with a jumper on the blue inspection plug, and the SRS light doesnt even blink, its just on solid.

When I removed the stock stereo, there was an anti theft code on the deck. I've heard this may trigger the light.

Thats about it. Other than the stock stereo security code, what else could it be? It came on immediately after turing the ignition on, after the install.

Problem solved, I replaced the fuse and tried the reset again. Lights off. It must have gotten bumped.
