Default axle legnth problem...

hey guys i have 93' honda civic with an integra suspension swap...
i had recent problems before that i had a post on about, but it was resolved.
the only problem i have now and still is the length of the axle is still too short... about an inch or two... is it because i got a shitty after market brand or is there any longer ones i can get for an eg? d16z6 engine btw.

I have a 92 civic with Integra Suspension on it, when my d15b7 was in there I used normal civic axles. I'm guessing your problem is with your axle trying getting another and see if that solves your problem.

if youre using the same axles you were using before, you simply did something wrong.

If you bought new axles then it may be the manufacturer. My buddy bought one from Autozone and the trans kept spitting it out. Then he bought one from NAPA and never had another issue. He measured it and the Autozone axle was a little bit shorter. I run GSP axles in my civic and havent had any issues.

nah the old ones before snapped. i bought a replacement one that i realized was too short because it was straining the boot connected to the tranny....

thats odd... the axle brand i have now are the GSP ones... do you know any axle that's a lil longer that'll adapt to an eg? it's just the passnenger side btw too... my wheels sit straight and everything. i had aligned too, but this passenger side axle is my only problem right now... its too short!!

hmm.. my GSP ones are for a B-series so that may rule GSP out for you. I do know that the autozone ones came up short for my buddy in his d-series eg sedan. Try using a NAPA or getting an OEM replacement from the dealer..

Either you got a bad axle or something is bent. All '92 - '00 D-series civic/del sol axles are the same. The integra suspension really doesn't come into play at all, geometry is identical between the two.

well like 94EG8 said, it's either that or the other. someone told me it was my lower control arm that was bent, another said it was my axle was short.
