How to install 5-bolt pattern steering wheel in an EK?
I have a 97 ek (check my DA build thread if you want to see it)
I have 2 steering wheels that have a 5 bolt pattern and I want to know where I can find an ek hub that is the 5 bolt design.
I have tried pep boys and all those off the shelf places but they don't have them

Creating the best thread title helps you get more responses by letting members know what specific information is needed:

It's just part of a larger effort to get members to create better thread titles:

but read the new title lol it just sounds like I don't know English.
Any way is there anyone who knows where I can get a 5-bolt hub for the ek?
Grant makes them for all civics until 91 and there 93 integra kit will work with eg's and dc2's. I just cant find any hub of their's or any other hub for that matter that is 5-bolt and will work for the ek and newer civics and rsx's.
Please someone help!!!

Re: How to install 5-bolt pattern steering wheel in an EK?
ok to install.
undo the two bolts that hold on the air bag
then undo all the srs clips
then in the back will be a 19mm nut, undo that
bam it slides off
to install the quick release or just aftermarket hub:
find the correct hub,
use that 19mm nut and bolt it down
do a mock up of the steering wheel to make sure its straight when the wheels are straight
bolt it all down with either allen or phillip screws(whichever it came with)
now the other question you asked, will the da one fit?
i dont know, but i am using one from a ef in my eg and it does go on, just doesnt sit back far enough for my liking, there could be a half inch gap

I have removed the wheel already and I have done it many times and no the DA one doesnt fit the DA hub will work with eg's and dc2's but the ek has the same steering column width as all the newer civics and rsx's. I need to find a hub that will accept my steering wheel. they are 5 bolt wheels (cause I have 2 that we can use) and all of the nrg quick releases are 6 bolt. I either need to find the adapter plate or a 5 bolt hub. the main reason for this is we are trying not to spend money on things we already have. I dont want to buy a new steering wheel when I have 2 in my garage. We are working this on a limited budget.
I am about to just order a egay set-up though if I cant find a hub that will work

Re: How to install 5-bolt pattern steering wheel in an EK?
Grant steering wheels use a 5-bolt pattern. You'll need a 5-bolt Grant steering hub, or a 6-bolt Momo/Sparco hub and one of these: http://www.summitracing.com/search/b...Wheel-Adapters
A Nardi/Personal 6-bolt hub has the bolt pattern rotated 30 degrees vs. the Momo/Sparco hub, so if you go that route, make sure you mate up the correct adapter with the correct hub.
