Just wondering, anyone attempt this yet? Any mounts out there? Definitely has to be more affordable than a K swap.

I only have a little advice from what I have seen and read, no practical experience myself. I have only seen mods where you will cut the sheet metal off of the car for the mounting brackets and make your own mounting brackets in the proper location for your new motor. I have not seen anyone buy a special mod rubber motor mount to fit the application. To reinforce this, I live overseas, I watch Spike TV online, such as Horsepower and Trucks, they also make their own mount brackets to weld on the frame, its not difficult if you have a decent welder guy available.

Also the b series has many more aftermarket items available than the k series, at least that is one reason for doing a b swap. Some folks just like it old school, like you.

All that fabrication would still be cheaper than K swap. I am fan of everything old school, as my signature says. And lastly because I hate to stray with the crowd, everyone wants Kraftwerks supercharged L15's or K swaps I don't. Anyway, I don't own a Fit, just wondering in case I decide to buy.

It never made sense to me to put an older engine in a new car. The only one of these I've seen was in like Thailand or something like that. I own a Fit and this is not a swap I would bother with.

Everyone has their own opinions, I respect yours, but I rather shell out the same amount of money for a Kraftwerks supercharger and throw in a B-series type R. A K swap is just too expensive imo.

B swap is possible for honda fit !!! i did mine a few mths back, and currently still under RnD recently i just got my shifter n engine mounting replace due to trashing n testing on the parts....
