Sounds like your halfshaft is shot sir. But I can't exactly tell what you mean in the last statement. Later, BR

buy from a different store? i dont see how a bad halfshaft bearing would hurt the axle since the halfshaft moves the axle and not vice versa when first engaging the clutch.

Re: Keep breaking cv joints soon i move the car
I get a headache from your stupidity. There is no way you are breaking cv shafts as soon as you try to move the car unless they are made of papermachey (sp). My guess is that they are coming out of the knuckle. If the wheels rotate freely then your brakes are not locked up and they are not the problem. If the intermediate shaft turns with no issues then it can not be the issue either. So all that is left is the papermachey cv shafts you are using. I have never heard of a car breaking a cv shaft as soon as it moves...let alone 5 in one day.

are you sure that you have the correct axle, looks like its too short. only reason i can think of why it would fall out

Re: Keep breaking cv joints soon i move the car
they are not breaking.......just like i told you.
Those axles are too short and the shaft is sliding out of the knuckle. I have a feeling you are getting the wrong ones. go to Oreilly auto parts not autozone.

I would make sure you are getting the correct axles. I was purchasing axles for my B16 Del sol a few weeks ago. Something I noticed is that they had the same part number for a SOHC and a DOHC. I know this isn't your setup but I'm sure it's possible that they F&cked up yours as well. I said screw it and got OEM axles. They fit like a glove and are so much better quality than those aftermarket brands.

Re: Keep breaking cv joints soon i move the car
When you are handling the C.V. joint are you sure that you aren't extending that side of the axle to where that knuckle pops out of the joint(end). Then installing it, looking like it's suppose to but really that knuckle not being in the joint. There for the diff spinning the axle and the axle twisting the boot right up so tight it instantly tears it???
KISS-Keep It Simple Stupid
A lot of the times it's that little dumb stuff that causes the issue.
Like everyone has said, that axle has to be too short.

i am also having this same problem with my 91. like he said. It started out with a vibration in first gear. That went on for about 2 months. Then im driving and do a u turn and Snap. Cv joint looks the same as his. Put another axel in yesterday and didnt even move 2 feet. Pulled the inner Cv joint out again. My car is dropped on Omni Power Coilovers all the way, but its been like that for about a month and just now had this problem. Hopefully some one could help us solve this issue. I Havent driven my car in a week

I'm guessing the center shaft bolts have come loose, or fallen out.
There are 3 bolts holding the center shaft to the block.
I have had a couple bolts just work their way out and were gone. I did torque to specs when i installed.
I check them everytime i get under the car now.
