What a ******.
I had to waste my time to login just to tell you that.
Btw Cibaru,
awesome project man.
I own a Forester GT and my girlfriend loves EG civics. Maybe one day I'll combine the two like you did haha.
Can't wait to see the front bar finished and a video of the car in action!

not a fan, i appreciate the work done, but you could have swapped that motor into a lighter model subaru and had something that handled better, and looked better.
Next time youre messing with WRX motors, just swap it into a forester.

Re: Project: First world Civic powered by Subaru
Normally, I would say its still a honda...
with
Shitty econobox brakes, Shitty econobox suspension, Shitty econobox interior, etc etc.
But its not... and that is AWESOME
just one ?. why all this for a DD?...
for 5300 you could have bought an sc300 or something luxury and still have 2g left over for a kick *** stereo and ****.
im glad you did it... i love the honda look and most honda engines, i just hate everything else honda does. So to see a subaru chassis with a honda shell = WIN
again mad props... I am amazed at your body fab skills

Re: Project: First world Civic powered by Subaru
to change your mind?
as in change it up? be the rebel...
if that's what your going for, i get that and i like it.
i wanted to do something different with a subaru XT and a sr-20 engine set up for drifting..
or lift the **** out of it, put 25inch long travel on it, 33" tires and an alluminum chevy v8
to be different
what i got from it:
that you plan on spending more money at a later date... but you don't wanna race it?

It's funny to watch you guys argue about this stuff... 9 outta 10 of yall got it right. . . Bc CLEARLY what this guys did IS talent & drive to do something daring as that... It's Classic... plain & simple. & for anyone to disagree is just flat out lame, and envious bc they didnt have the time, patience or idea to do it themselves. No sweat son, what you did is bad *** & looks great!! and to the kid saying " If you want AWD, go BUY one. . ." how about not, bc i'm pretty sure this kid just did ya one better ... HE MADE ONE... what so you have on that?? ................ that's what i thought.

OP: i think its cool all of the work you put into it, and im glad youre proud of it, but you would have spent less money on a GC style WRX swap with a newer bodystyle car with more options, a lighter chassis, and an overall nicer car.
