Is it easier to use the stock OBD0 harness on the car with the OBD1 D15B and add the wires or convert to OBD1?

If I use the stock harness, what injectors will I use? (the obd1 or obd0?) And I have to use a resistor box if keeping it OBD0 right?

Can I use the OBD1 Distributor, or do I have to use the OBD0?

I've been trying to research this and been reading through a lot of links and old threads, but I just need a clear confirmation.

And just use OBD0 to OBD1 Distributor jumper harness and ECU harness with OBD1 VTEC ECU?

What would be the best ECU to use? P28?

if you go with the P28 you'll also have to wire the 4 wire O2 or if you use the P08 ECU (the ECU made to go with that engine) will use a one wire. You can also get the P28 chipped for P08 so you can still use a one wire O2. BTW what model civic do you have? DX, Si, STD?

Alright, well I will use the P08 then.

Not sure on the model, I believe its a DX. It actually belongs to my friend, and I'll be putting it in for him. Since I haven't touched a D-Series swap in an OBD0 car is several years, I just wanted to make sure of all the wiring before I put it in.

If its a DX you will also have to convert the harness to MPFI with 4 injectors. The DX has DPFI with only 2. Look in the FAQ for help on this. Its not that hard.

It does have DPFI. I read through the FAQ section and bookmarked a few good sites found from reading through the FAQ's, but as always, seems a little confusing until I just do it.
