Pump / Injector Combo chart
Here's a quick chart I put together to answer some of the 'which pump combo' questions people have. It's all general info, so don't take anything to heart, but it's a good baseline. Let me know if anyone sees anything incorrect, I think i've got it all right.

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
I likey.
I'm gearing up for the ID1000 + Walbro/Bosch 044 + E85 + GT3076 combo. Looks like a well complemented combination.
And it's good to see you still around. Been a long time since I went up to D-town to see Art and Stan and everyone. Maybe since one of the early EFI101s.

Great info! I know its less common on here, but alot of the evo guys run duel walbros. How much less than a dual bosch would you imagine for similar setups?

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
great work tony.
i hear so many people ask so many questions and ask what combos work, or what to get for "x" amount of hp. now they have something to reference off of. should be a sticky.

i would say around 650-700 as well, similar numbers to the 255 and 044. the dual 255's give volume but cant support the pressure.

Had to be one. I wouldnt post anything else either if i were not sellin it. Im sure the reason he just posted those is because that is what the majority run. Good work Tony.

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
well its somewhat new technology as well. not very many high flowing high impedance injectors out there. tonys post doesnt really have anything to do with distributing/selling injectors but only info to the public on how much power you can get out of a combo. you can put any 1000cc injector in the equation and have it come out the same...not just the id1000. basically he just did all the math and made a nice chart for everyone to understand it easily and/or use as a quick reference. and great info with the 2000's. might take a set from you tony.

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
The low pressure data will apply to most any 1000cc injector but the 100psi info will not. Most injectors won't run that much pressure safely.

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
Is that 100psi base pressure or total outcome (base+boost)?
Nevernind, re-read the bottom portion. Looks like I will have to save up for a 044.

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
Yeah, forgot to add the dual walbros. I'll update it.
With the ID1000's, it doesn't really buy you anything, less capability than the walbro/bosch combo because you don't get any pressure capability and that's what you need to get more out of the 1000's.
With the ID2000's, dual walbros would be good for 950+hp at 3 bar on gas and 850+ on E85. The problem is you still only have about 75-80psi pressure capability, so it limits the amount of boost you can run and things still be right.

Re: Pump / Injector Combo chart
Since these numbers are pretty general data, it's hard to say yes or no to a 10% margin. There could easily be more than 20% difference from car to car based on a number of various parameters. This is just a general guideline. I would feel comfortable saying that if your power goals are within 10% below those numbers, you should consider going with the next step up in the fuel system, whatever the upgrade might be.
