It appears that C23 is working for Tony due to the air to water setup.. The rest of us should probably stick to C16 if using ID2000's
"What I have seen is that C23 will work fine. You just have to keep your air inlet temps colder. I'd say under 100 degrees to be safe. C16 has a better tolerance to high inlet temps.

Not to bring this convo back from the dead, but I've been doing some research and wondering what you guys thoughts on whats the best fuel for a boosted app where theres no intercooler?? 15-20PSI 300HP range, probably gonna see 150+ IATs.
I've been told by one guy in the "know" that C16 will handle this just fine.. How would Q16 compare to C16 when considering an application with super high IATs and 13:1 compression? The other alternative that I am considering is E85 since it has good latent heat of evaporation..
Bore x stroke: 76.0 x 55.0mm approx 14,000RPMs..

Cool, I'm about 98% set on doing E85, I just wanted to get some extra input from a technical perspective on the fuels in this senario incase there was some tidbit of fuel info I missed somewhere lol.

I'm going to assume that he's reading that from his ecu that is displaying in lambda.
Now if millers car had an air fuel meter on it (set for gasoline stoich) and it's tuned for .91 lambda then the meter would display 13.37.
I'm going to guess that his engine is highly efficient and most engines that are require less amounts of fuel. I'm sure he's got quite a bit of compression as that usually does it.
So I would say his car would run best with leaner mixtures with C16 as well.
Your confusing yourself with different stoich values of fuel types. This is why most people (except USA) use lambda to tune instead of a/f. Most a/f meters read in lambda and then convert that to the a/f of gasoline or other fuel type if selectable. So don't try to learn the stoich values of every fuel type or mixture, etc. Just learn what lambda your engine wants to run at and tune for that a/f in the gasoline scale.

I rather not take a chance on pump gas considerning if the motor grenades I'll be skiing on a film of oil at 200+ MPH.. Just not a situation I'd like to be in on a bike.. I think I'll stick to somthing with a little better octane and better cooling properties. I just have this feeling at 16-20 PSI my IATs are gonna be pretty high with the size turbo I'm running and no intercooler. Thanks for the input though..
