Does this mean ECM needs to be replaced?
How do you know if your ECM is bad?
A year ago my car flooded out. I dried everything and and it worked great for a year. Now I have small problems:
In Order in the way it happened.
1)Radio turns off, turns on, turns off, turns on.
2)reak lights come on every once in awhile (when I touch break).
3)Most Recent blinking D4 Light and driving I can feel gear shifting is off.
1)Check TCU- no burnouts...
2)I read the codes but this is what I got.... Consistant 1sec blink, 1 sec off, 1 sec blink, 1 sec off etc. I counted all the way to 100 but then stopped counting because I know thats not normal.
Could it be the ECM is done due to the salt water flooding it last year?
I have to bring this car back to full working condition or my wife will bitch!!! HA!

1 blink from the D4 light with the SCS connector shorted = a problem with your lockup control solenoid A. It could be disconnected or the connectors could be corroded/dirty.
The A & B lockup control solenoids are the two cylinders attached to the front of the trans mission. Check that connection and make sure that it is tight and clean.

Thanks for the feedback. Does the A and B cylinders come off or does this come off as a unit? I took of the unit. cleaned the inside. Just minor dirt etc but looked practically band new. NOw on top of the unit "a" and "b" they are both looking shabby and rusted. Do they actually seperate from the unit?
I drove the car around the block. No blinking light. I stop the car and turned it off 2x's and no blinking light. Time will tell.
