new car was auto hx mess!!
well i got a new car its a 96 hx it was an auto and someone converted it to 5 speed
but they only did the tranny swap so the car is in limp mode and still has the cabin harness that is an auto my question is if i get a obd2 to obd1 harnesss wit ecu will it plug in or would i have to change the cabin harness

You will not have to change the cabin harness. Im curious to how they converted to the tranny mount. Can you post a pic?

i dunno about your state, but i know in NJ and DE any 96 and newer (OBDII) car has to pass OBDII emission check, i.e. connect a computer to the OBDII connector and have the computer check various things... something you may want to look into before you shell out the bread for the OBDII->OBDI schwag...
