Jdm H22a ecu question
So i guess running a gsr ecu in my h22a. im tired of getting kicked out of vtec with each shift; im wondering if i should get a stock h22 ecu or just chip & tune the current one im running, vtec controller? Any feedback/suggestions are welcome, thanks..

Either route is fine, and suggested over continuing to use a stock GSR ECU... but a stock GSR ECU kicks in VTEC earlier than the stock H22 ECU, so I don't see how switching the ECU will address your concern.

Re: Jdm H22a ecu question
Oh yea that is true.. well vtec hits around 5000-5500 rmp & i start to lose power around 6500 and so im forced to shift (probably do to the excessive back pressure im getting from having stock piping!) haha. & on top off that i think my tranny might be a h23 or something because my gears are LONG. Like longer than a ls tranny long
