Braile Battery Install
I thought I would share this information here since I post in here 98% of the time.
Battery specifications:
Braile #B14115
11.5 lbs
5.8'' (L) x 3.4'' (W) x 5.8'' (H)
360 Cold Cranking Amps
486 Cranking Amps
904 (PCA) Pulse Cranking Amps
Battery Tray properties: AL 6061, Mass = 1.69766 pounds
Install Photos, I have yet to replace the threaded rod with a billet posts, but eh whatever. I can provide complete detail drawings for anyone who wishes to mill their own. This bolts in the factory location on DC2's and I believe later model civics are the same. Battery Tray properties: AL 6061, Mass = 1.69766 pounds

Re: Braile Battery Install
According to the price on Brailles site they are cheaper than I thought.
Looks good
If you could pm me all the prints you have for the tray and tie down, thatd be cool.
Im thinking the tray should drop in the same for an eg.

Re: Braile Battery Install
Sorry, forgot about this, here are the details below. Feel free make one for yourself. Note you need Qty of one of everything except you will need (2) -101.
Additional BOM
-Length of M6x1.0 threaded rod for the tie downs, cut to fit as desired
-(2) M6x1.0 lock nuts/Acorn or equivalent for the tie down rods
-(3) M8x1.25 25mm long set screws. You should loctite the set screws into the bottoms of each post blind tapped holes.
-(3) M8x1.25 20mm long BHCS(Button Head Cap Screw) to attach battery tray to posts.

I was curious thanks for responding. Off topic but from my exp. the nitrous just won't flow right without a warmer. You will not see the full potential of the kit and tuning it will be hit or miss. Just a thought, I better go now I'm talkin about JUICE in the all motor forum. Sweet car, very clean thats hard to do in these parts!

Re: Braile Battery Install
I don't post much anymore, but I wanted to bump this to say Johnny Diaz from Braille = great guy/customer service. I have made about 20 of these for people, feel free to make you own or PM me with e-mail for B-size drawings.
