I have owned 6 Tegs various years I would do ur self a favor and get a long 3/4" breaker bar I use to slip a 6ft steel shaft over that with two people with the car on the ground dont jack it up ull have to hold the brakes if u do that... to take it off I have done alot of axle replacements and I want to say 32MM but yes u have to remove the axle nut to get the axel out, YOU CAN REMOVE THE SPRINGS WITHOUT TAKIN THE AXLE OUT TO BE CLEAR!

You absolutely do not need to remove the axles to install springs.

And nothing on a Honda is sized in imperial units. Everything is metric. Axle nuts on all Integras except the JDM '98-Spec ITR are 32mm.

yup 32 mm on the axle nut and then youre gonna need a 17mm to get the lower wishbone bolt off it has a nut on the back of it too so you have to hold that while you loosen the other side and i believe its a 12 on the pinch bolt on top of the wish bone, the nuts on top of the strut should be 12's too if i remember right but you shouldnt have to take the axles completely out you might even be able to get by without taking the nut off at all, ive never tried it that way

Perhaps you need to read the actual first post again:

i thought you had to remove the lower ball joint bolt and drop the lca/ be careful, the rear lower shock nuts are a pain in the *** and are super common to be siezed in the bushing collar and break off when you try to remove it

(2) 14mm bolts on the strut tower

17mm bolt on the wishbone or fork

14mm bolt that holds the actual spring/strut setup into the wishbone or fork

17mm nut to take the tie rod end out. (hit the knuckle portion that that tie rod end goes through with a hammer and the tie rod end will free itself)

10mm bolt that holds the brake line on

17mm or 19mm (not 100% sure) for the upper control arm ball joint

after that the srping/strut assembly will come right out

just like Targa250R said you do not need to touch any part of the car besides the shock fork and shock , no need to remove or loosen the axle or touch the front lower control arm or even the ball joint to change the out the springs
