The Accord has it built into the master cylinder.

EG's/DC's etc have the fluid damper on the hardline, so you could just run that too.

Both Cl/Accord V6 use a SAC(self adjusting clutch) fwiw

Gringo- imobi key is only for starting the car...nice theft deterrent.

This is a swap thread, not a k-series vs a J. These engines are a liter and a half bigger, it's a stupid comparison seeing how it's a Honda V6 that will make more power every where.

Phino's 94 coupe Dyno.
Megan racing header and 3'' exhaust with a stand alone and stock internal engine.

Now don't show up in here if you think that a K-series engine can make the same power mod for mod.
TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER I DONT MEAN TO JACK UR THREAD
here is my new 1 with the same mods and i just put a fuel pressure regulator...Its gona make more with just bolt ons goal with OEM parts and Minor addons i trying for 300+whp..more to come

Looks good Pinho!

The more info in this thread the better! My goal is to achieve 300 whp NA with OEM parts also. Should be a blast

How is the resonance of the Megan headers? They're super cheap, but I don't know about longevity. I've installed the CT/Comptech ones in customer CL's, but those are too spendy

what'd you need a fuel regulator if you had a standalone? it looks like you leaned it out to pick up the extra power.

i put the fuel pressure regulator because i was maxing out the stock injectors..instead of making the injectors work at %100 with the regulator they are at %75

I'm looking forward to seeing this out at PIR soon. I'm thinking that any handling issues can be worked around. What little bit you may give up in cornering speed will be more than made up coming off the corners and down the straights.

Have you had it weighed on some real scales yet? I'm interested in seeing how the F:R weight ratios are and how close to "optimal" you can get it with suspension adjustment. Overall weight is nice to know, but I wouldn't put much faith in a truck scale since they're most likely calibrated to be accurate at much higher weights.

Yeah, totally. Obviously it's not as nimble as a D16Z6, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Even just daily driving and getting a feel for the whole setup as given me a lot of hope for the full potential this will have. I need to change my spring rates up quite a bit, however.

I would like to corner balance it, and adjust as necessary. The dump scales were used to hush some people up, thinking this added 300 lbs to the car

what size are the stock injectors?

why not just lean it out w/o changin fuel pressure. you leaned it out to make the extra power. i could see upping the pressure if you wanted to add fuel, but you ended up leaner than before.

nice numbers btw

We're still talking about weight huh?

Just like the good ole days when ppl though the H22 weighed eleventy million pounds more than a b series.

well when i went to the dyno the first time, i was maxing out my injectors@ 5800rpm's ,it was at %110 max duty cycle...so i put a fuel pressure regulator and a walbro 255 fuel pump so it wouldent max out the injectors...sorry i forgot to mention the fuel pump..
i took out fuel because the fuel pump was feeding it to much fuel after these 2 changes..

The first pass the Blue line was with these changes then i had to lean it out and the Red line was the final

Cool Build EVS-ONE! And it's good to see that you are so close too! There is a new forum on K20a.org for the J-series. I am sure that the knowledge of you and others that have done this swap would be beneficial to others that are considering this route. Thanks for posting this build!!

Dyno'd my POS last week.

BONE stock engine, STOCK ECU, 2 inch exhaust, stock CIVIC cat, and Spoon muffler...

200 ft lbs at 2200 RPM is nice...but I need to move some air easier for the top end. I lost about 40 hp up top I bet...
