How do i find the offset of my wheels? ROTAS! HELP^^

How do i find the offset of my wheels? ROTAS! HELP^^
just got into a car accident
somone came over and hit into my front left driver side bent my rim and scratched it all up
i got 15' black rota slips
how do i find out what size/offset they are so i can order the same one
what do i measure
i bought them used
they look like none of my buddys slips the offset is way different ( the middle of the rim )
help me out

on the inside of the wheel there is alot things on the wheel:
-500k6
-1570
-40
-SN65
-HT
-ROTA
-a6/04
all those things are around the center of the rim like the part that touches the rotor.
could the 1570 number be 15 in rim 7 in wide and that 40 be the offset like +40?

Lay the wheel face down and put a straight edge across it. Get a ruler and measure the depth from the straight edge to the hub mounting surface. That is the backspacing. Divide the width of the wheel by 2 and subtract that from the backspacing. That is the offset.
Ex: 15x7 +40offset 7in = 177.8mm/2 = 88.9mm
Backspacing is 5.07 in = 128.8mm - 88.9 = 39.9mm, round to 40 offset.

They are probably 40 or 45 offset. The rim could either be 6.5 or 7 inches wide.

Measuring the offset seems really tricky. I have never done it.
It might be easier to go to a tire shop.
They would probably measure the offset for free if they thought you were going to buy the wheel from them. (You don't actually have to buy it from them.)

if you look inside face of the rim, on the spokes, it should tell you the size of the rim (15x7 or 15x6.5), the weight of the rim, and its offset... should say something like ET40
