You do amazing work and it was really neat seeing some of the projects you have worked on over the years.

I was up in "Mooree-al" on Saturday, but I had to spend the entire day working dogs (getting bitten by dogs) at the Canadian Ringsport Championship, and thus I didn't have a chance to look you up. I see I missed a few posts in your thread here.

It's great to see that you are growing the business, but I agree totally with the need for the viral marketing. You deserve much success and often it's more about being a good marketer than it is about being great at the underlying skill (like fabrication and welding).

Everything is beautiful as always, please keep the photos coming as you are able! ! !

Definitely one of the best welders in all of montreal area imho, the only place i'd bring my car to get welding /cage work done. Very realistic prices too, best of luck with the new employee and bigger work load! Anyone I know that needs welding I ship them your way.

And what he says about being motivated now with an employee is true!
I walk in to the shop and Markku has the biggest smile ear to ear!! And it looks as if the 2 of them work really well together, looks like they are having fun!!!

Very sorry for my lack of updates, I've been keeping busy! I'm very happy to see that I have been able to inspire some people. That's always a great feeling.

Business has been very steady, which is nice. Unfortunately I have not been very present on the forums and whatnot, but I will try to make more time for that.

Managing an employee is a whole different can of worms. I've never been in a position of authority, and I have a lot to learn. I'm sometimes way too nice and I'm working on balancing that out. He works well and is improving quickly.

I have been making a conscious effort to stop taking stupid jobs like res deletes and other stuff like that for a few reasons. For one, I do not want any work to leave this shop that might reflect bad on our name. People may look at a res delete and see mig welds etc and assume we work fast and sloppy. I'd rather not do it at all, even if the customer is happy with that type of work. Also, it's a huge waste of time to put a car on the lift for a $40 res delete. I actually have people telling me they could get it cheaper than $50 at another shop. I am SO done with that.

Anyways, I have tons to say, but Tamara is waiting for me right now so I'll just post some pics and update more later!

now in a few pictures, i seen you use duck tape to hold the pipes together. my question to you is do you make a few tacks through the tape then peel the tape off and finish the weld?
