You guys that buy rims from yahoo japan auction. How much does it cost to ship them to the states?

It'll depend entirely on the importer your choosing to do the work for you. You cannot bid on YJP without a Japanese address, so bidding on anything requires you to actually have some sort of local contact. That is where the importer will step in. I've seen the steady rise in shipping prices, that coincide with the decrease in value of the USD when compared to Japanese Yen.

I owned a set of which had a pair of 16x8 +34. SHG_Fellipe now owns them. Definitely not a common size though.

Yeah +29 I haven't seen before either. These are rare even in Japan lol. Even then when they are found, they tend to be in poor condition.

Thanks. Its not my first time buying from japan auctions. I go through a site that charges a fee but I have never bought something that heavy. Are we talking 400+ in shipping on a set of rims?

I buy japanese fishing rods from the auctions and they usually cost 70-90 to ship plus a duty fee.

Shipping overall (local Japan, then freight, then US-shipping), typically costs around $350+ for a set of wheels (without tires).

for sea frieght yeah thats about right-EMS look to spend 600+

ARD GT-Spoke splits by 5Zigen. 17x7 all around. ( center caps are not original though )
