how to diy paint gutted interior
well for some of us we dont have access to a compressor/gun so i was wondering what other people have used to paint their interior of gutted cars.. i thought of trying the roll on paint they were using for exterior... well some good advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advanced

yeah but how well does the spray work.. i used just some crappy spray paint and im sure the dupli-color works and sticks better... but how well will that hold to being scratched and what not?

What does everyone do with the rectangular "sleeves" that the wire harness runs through to get to the rear of the vehicle? (very close to the door sills) ?

Just finished my brothers Midori EG the other day.
If you do it with a gun, I suggest you have good ventilation. It was pretty bad even in the downdraft.

any more pics from using th dupli-color spray paint... any one know how well it stands to scratching?

I sprayed mine with Rustoleum Semi-Gloss white. Came out decent but after 2 years of use it needs to be touched up in a few spots. But white is hard to keep clean in general, especially when you carry a lot of **** in the car at times like I do. Here's a pic:

When I re-did my interior, I just used a couple cans of semi gloss black all over.
Then for the rear (since I decided to put my seats back in) I laid 2 coats of black trunk paint, which has a rough surface feel

I only went up to the insulation... but thats because I didnt mess with the wiring and stuff. You cant see it anyway.
