Re: (ILcrxsi1)
Hold the hatch up with a block of wood
Have rust on the 1/4 panels
Stripped rear interior
taken apart and re-assembled the same **** 50 times
your main relay goes bad
have no radio
have a cracked climate control
car makes weird noises (squeaks and rattles)
can run -14 sec 1/4 mile and still get 40 mpg
people call your car a shoebox (why?)
when a 1.6Liter is an upgrade and makes you feel good
when you need 2 people to open the hood, one to pop and one to push down

You know you own an EF when:
you're used to driving with no dashlights...
when you QUICKLY correct someone when they call your EF9 (civic) a EF8(crx)... and vise versa...
lol

You know you own an EF when... you don't leave home without your tools!

You know you awn an EF when...
- your e-brake is your cup holder (22ounce on the right, 32 ounce on the left)
- parents call your car a piece of junk and it pisses you off like nothing else
- when driving down the street you get bad looks from everyone and harrassed by the cops
- you have a 3rd grear grind
- you see a cop u shift at 2k not trying to draw any attention
- your whole dash and shift light vibrate when starting her up, and at at red lights
- accelarating from a stop while turning hard your praying not to hear the axles crack
- the salt in the winter is the devil
hey crxbart, you should make one of those 365 day calendars. sign me up for one of them

- your hatch has hit your head due to broken hatch struts.
- you've had to ever "notch" your crossmember for any reason
- AC is a novelty and any CRX with AC is considered entirely too luxurious, thus must be removed promptly.
- someone asks you what "CRX" stands for.

When I read it happened my heart dropped. I only knew him through his cars but my heart goes out to his friends and family. He's in a better place now...
For Randy, you know you own an EF when a stock EF9 just isn't good enough for you -- everything, and I mean everything, has to be overhauled

1. you finish pumping gas before everyone(already there) else does
2. you've done a rear disc brake conversion
3. you wish ur car had a/c (crx HF)
4. you almost got air-borne when u hit a bump @ high speeds
5. you remeber the exact milage when u did the swap
6. you got dents in your door pilar cuz of the door closing on the seat belt
7. you automatically do the open-lock door everytime u get out of the car.
8. you had to get a bigger spare due to your brake conversion
9. you wonder if Honda is ever gonna bring back a true CRX
10. you always ask another EFer if they want to sell their car to you
11. you've searched for a mint condition driver seat
12. you've done some body repair on it
13. you can drop & re-install your motor in 30mins or less
14. you've replaced your driver's or passenger's glass due to the clips breaking
15. you work on your car everyday even for the little stuff (i.e maintainance, cleaning, etc.)

I can say without a doubt I fit in with over 250 of the posted problems...oh god, I'm an EFer...
Maybe we should have meetings to discuss our obsession and why it's bad .
You know you own an EF when you swap out the cloth from a passenger seat pan to a driver seat pan so you can be the only one with a mint driver seat.

When you have never actually replaced a front wheel bearing, since buying a whole knuckle assembly at the local Pick-And-Pull is just SO much cheaper.
When doing a B-series swap suddenly makes you feel like MUCH less of a loser for driving around in an 18 year old car.
When going into VTEC feels like the car is going to break up into a million pieces...........and you wouldn't have it any other way!
When driving a 1988 4DR that has a clean interior and working A/C actually feels like driving a luxury car.
When Honda people at the track make fun of your faded, trash-filled car.........only to later eat their words when your car runs a whole 2.5 seconds and 18MPH faster than theirs DESPITE the fact that their 60 foot times are about half yours!

LMAO at that...my drivers door does it.
You know you own a EF when your overhead seatbelt light flashes and beeps at any random time.
