Default obd2 diagram needed

sup, well heres the deal I am going to be hard wiring a couple plugs and i was looking for a obd2A ecu diagram for A,B,and D plugs with all pin numbers and names. I have been searching for an hour and everything that comes up is either red X's or obd1 stuff. I have also tried other forums so all i need is maybe an email or a link of some sort thanks. help is appreciated

I can give you a few pics from my '98 manual of the ECU sockets.

What sensors and/or actuators are you wiring? You might find it useful if I gave you some of the electrical connection pages so you can look up where it junctions and pin everything to a socket instead of running the wires by themselves. That way it'll also give you an easy way to disconnect the wires any time you have to pull the motor or whatnot.

bowdown!!^^^
thanks guys, Now it is time to hardwire some things. Being that i have no vtec and i am a P30 and currently on throwing 1 CEL which is 23 (knock). So i have heard that it affects timing and vtec will not engage if throwing that cel. correct?

Correct. It would run in what I would call "Safe Mode"

to be specific the detection of a knock or a faulty knock sensor will cause the timing to be retarded because knock is assuned to be caused bt pre-ignition

It won't cause the motor to knock. If the sensor isn't there though, the ecu will think it is knocking and will throw the ecu into limp mode.

hey i did a 99 si swap in my 97 ex used the wire harness but it dont plug into my 99 si ecu cuz its OBD2B and my harness is OBD2A does any one know how i can re pin it to use the Si ecu,i already got the B connector plug and just need to switch pins around so can any one help??

Knock sensor doesn't make ur engine knock it detects knock EXAMPLE..if u ran ur Engine with no oil and u damage it then the knock in the Engine changes so that will cause it to throw..it sends the signal to the ecm around i think its 5v and when the knock in the Engine changes, for any reason it will throw the Check engine light... its self producing voltage from the move meant of the Engine that's how it works...When ur engine is running fine it keeps the same amount volts sent to the ecm. correct me if im wrong..
