Youll be fine, you can lower it like an inch and be cool. Or go with an r6 which already is the lowest of the big brands seat height wise.

tell me if i have been told wrong information...but i was told that most 600's are built/tuned (suspension wise) around a guy about 5'6" / 150 pounds ...is this true?
also, i have been told that if you go to the dealership toget a new bike, that they will lower it for you at no cost...is this true?

there's this local bike shop run by some older chinese man and he's pretty short, i'd say maybe 5'3" and he rides just fine. only thing is, when he has to back the bike up, he has to walk the bike, then hop on it. someone told me he used to race professionally a long time ago.
there's this chick i met, she's about 5'4 and she seems to have a big problem with riding. seems like she always has to have someone back the bike up for her. she has an r6 too.
so it's definately do-able, you'll just have more hurdles to go through

I can flat-foot in my Timberlands on my SV, which has a seat height pretty close to that of a sportbike (I think). I'm somewhere between 5'4" and 5'6".
You may have to walk the bike backwards and hop on it, but once you get moving, you won't have any problems.

You'll be fine. Just make sure you have one super buff leg to lean to one side.

Prepare to contort yourself into the fetal position. Virtually all modern sportbikes have ergonomics that are going to put a lot of stress on your body. A less-sporty bike would fit you better - think 2nd tier sportbike or maybe even a cruiser.
