EM1 Mugen front bumper - Anyone seen this before
I have in my possession a pristine mugen front bumper for the EM1.
It has the bolt on fins found only on the genuine Mugen version. The only con is that the badge has since been lost. I've verified with two autobody/paint shops that it is in fact genuine Mugen.
Has anyone seen this before? Any idea how much they go for?

Notice the poor fitment around the headlights and hood?
That's because its a bumper for a 1996-1998 Civic (more specifically, it was designed for the EK9 Civic Type-R hatchback).

Matt, EK4 is a chassis (trim level) not a production year range. Civic Type R models are all EK9 regardless of them being 96-98 or 99-00.

Psssh, NoFX a Mugen expert?
Don't worry, I'm here.
Yes, I've seen one.
Yes I know what they go for.
Do you have a pic of the Mugen emblem in it?
Like Matt said, they were made for the 96-98 front ends. They are pretty freaking rare... although they still only go for about the same price as the Mugen SS lip off the 99-00. There isn't as much of a demand for that year range, plus finding the real sides and rear and wing will be next to impossible.
I would say you can get $600-$1000 for that bumper, depending on how long you sit on it.
Here's a pic of the entire kit on Justin Nepo's old EM1 with the correct front end.

I dispute that brochure... I can see the pic, but I have NEVER seen this kit for 99-00... AFAIK they only made the SS kit for the 99-00. This style was exclusive to the 96-98 bumper... Unless they are just so rare I've never seen or heard of one in over 15 years.
I'd love to be proven wrong, but I simply don't believe it.

Thank you for taking the time to pass on this information, I couldn't find it even in the darkest corners of the net (I did find that shoot of Nepo's EM1 though). Unfortunately my painter lost my emblem two years ago when i was having it repaired and repainted.
The poor fitment under the hood is due to my body guy not having the car in his shop to mold to, my error.
This was the info i was looking for. I think i will hold onto it for the time being, and apply xpel clearshield to avoid having to have it rebuilt and painted it every year.
