Recently installed cat-back system, and a magnaflow cat to pass smog test ('99 base model). I installed the cat-back a couple days ago, followed by the cat a day later. I also connected a new vacuum hose that had been severed. Its the hose that goes from the intake control solenoid valve to the intake control diaphragm.

The hose/cat were installed around 3:00pm, and I had a ton of errands to run all day, so the engine never really got a chance to cool down. After the cat was installed I removed negative terminal on battery to reset CEL, but it came right back on, so I went to pep boys and they got a P0132 code (O2 circuit high voltage: bank 1, sensor 1).

At about 7:30pm I went to do laundry. Up to this point the car was running normal. I left the Laundromat at around 9:00pm so the engine had about 1.5 hours to cool down and the ambient (outside) temp also dropped from ~90 - ~70. On my way home, the engine started bogging down when I was approaching 3000RPM, felt like it was just going to die.

The car sat over night and I drove it to work this morning and I didn't notice the issue at all. Sat all day in the heat then I drove home and still didn't notice it. Then after work, the car sat for maybe 2-3 hours, and when I went to drive it again, it started happening again. It would bog down, then if I let off the gas some and then got on it again, it would like spring back to life and be normal for a bit. I got about a mile away from my apartment and while driving, the CEL started flashing.

anyone know WTF is going on with my Lude? hard to imaging all this from installing a cat and cat-back system. Also hard to imagine it's just a coincidence that it only started happing after the install. I'm at a loss
