Passenger axle chirping noise
This is on a 97 Prelude SH with 256k miles.
What I've replaced recently so, you guys have a heads up on what's been done to the car recently.
1) Replaced both inner and outer tie rods
2) Replaced front and rear sway bar brackets and end links.
3) Replaced passenger axle
4) Replaced new tires and rims
Everything was going great up until the last thing I replaced. The passenger axle. After install, I noticed a chirping noise from the front passenger front wheel. Any input on what it may be before I put the car back in the air. I'm thinking bearings, but there was no noise before axle install. I will double check all all the parts replaced to make sure everything is torqued down properly.

Re: Passenger axle chirping noise
Actually, it's possible to have damaged the bearing when you inserted the axle or it's possible you either didn't torque it enough or you overtorqued the axle nut. If you removed the pads it possible to have the pad chirping now as well. Just throwing things out there.

Re: Passenger axle chirping noise
I re-torqued everything to spec. The noise is still there. I will go ahead and replace the wheel bearing to try and eliminate that part.
I am thinking maybe the new axle I put in could be the issue. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the info by the way.
