Coolant Leak Please Help It's My Newspaper Delivery Car 7 Days A Week
Hello I have a 1990 HONDA ACCORD 201,000 miles f22A1 EX there is coolant leaking around the drivers side lower part of the engine no idea how or where it is coming from it looks like it is pouring from one opening almost like a bolt opening or something? I didn't even know there was any coolant hoses back there. If anyone can post some help as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated thank you. The coolant leak looks like it's coming from two holes somewhere in that area and sometimes it leaks pretty fast and at times it doesn't leak at all.

Could be leaking from the water hose on the back that comes from the heater valve.

+1 - Looks like it is leaking from the water outlet pipe and draining down the block. Either from the O-ring at the back of the water pump, or from the hose connecting to that first nipple on the pipe. Clean up the backside of the block with brake cleaner and rags, run the car while its up on jackstands and watch to see where the coolant originates from.

those upper hoses are connected to the throttle body/intake and are used to keep the throttle warm in cold weather
drain the radiator and the hose should be empty
change hose
prolly oem/dealer part most coolant hoses are shaped special to the car
if its a lower hose then u need to drain whole block

UPDATE : I see that the leak is coming from above those two holes in the picture does anyone have a idea of what that hose is and how many coolant hoses there are in that area and possibly a part number please? Its a hose somewhere near above those two holes witch is drivers side rear engine. The new third picture is a top part of the engine above where the leak is down under. Also on fourth picture that is more so the area of where it is coming from around there.

You don't need a part number for the hose bud, just pull it off and go to your local parts store and have them match it. Like I told you -- clean up the backside of the block with brake cleaner and rags, run the car while its up on jackstands and watch to see which hose the coolant originates from. There are only a couple hoses in that area that carry coolant.

It's likely leaking from the water pipe to heater core hose which is part 17 in the first pic. You can get this from any parts store. However, where it connects to the water pipe is really a pain to get to. You will need a 90 degree pair of needle nose to get that hose clamp off and likely will need to pull the throttle body to get to the heater core attachment which will require another throttle body gasket. Also, you will need to use a razor to cut a couple slits towards the firewall in an away from you manner, where the hose attaches at the right side of the heater core and then will need to pry it off with your hands as it will be binded to it like it's glued to it from the many years of being attached combined with the heat.
You may not need to pull the throttle body but I did when I replaced mine on my 4th gen to get access.

+1 agree on pipe running along the back of the block. It runs from the water pump on the drivers side, to the tstat on the passenger. They have orings on each end.
