the last one is a 'shop fail, sorry.

While I am not the fan of chrome, those wheels do look good.
Now, how about the original version of the last picture so we can tell what the wheels actually looks like.

Just downloaded the photo app this morning and been playing with it lol

I'm not a fan of chrome at all!! Actually got these wheels with the intentions of painting them either plasti dip 1st then maybe powder coating. But wheels look pretty sick in person and chrome actually doesn't look bad with this set-up. I know I switch wheels a lot but I think I found a set I'm extremely happy with. Getting some custom made hub centric rings which will cost $100!!
I just finished lowering the front so I'm maxed out down all the way front and rear. Here is a better unmolested pic

Sorry to bring an old picture, But love the TL type-S wheels on a V. May it be regular or low stance. Especially with matching spare wheel.

I like the TL Type S as well but I'm very happy with the aggressiveness of these cobras and pics don't do them justice

Not so good.

When I removed the stock engine noticed rear mount was broken and bought an after market mount at autozone (bad idea) as the holes don't even line up and drilled the hole bigger.

Gsr throttle bodies have the cable bracket backwars so had to re-use my OEM one until I installed another bracket cuz I have a 70mm gsr TB.

B20 distributor only lines up with 1 bolt as was told by another Crv Facebook member that our distributor would work but it doesn't. Gsr distributor doesn't work either as it's diff from our plugs. Swapped all of our internal components in gsr distributor

Had problems with getting power steering to work. Our Crv pumps barely fits on gsr brackets and it fits angled. Our Crv brackets don't bolt up to the gsr and I tried a gsr pump but the hole is smaller for our high pressure line. Used our Crv pump installed the belt and pulled up on the pump and barely catching the 2 bolts to secure the pump. I used a few washers on the top bolt as seen in the pic to make the pump sit straight as it's angled. Still very slightly angled to my eye but no noise from the pump and works properly for now

Other miscellaneous stuff I had to do of course. To top it all off having issues with the motor.
It smokes on acceleration and have oil coming out of the exhaust manifold.
The motor sat for a few yrs and I did a leak down before installing it and checked out. Let the car sit all weekend with marvel mystery oil in the cylinders no luck. Also running 1 quart of tranny fluid tricks to release stuck rings. Doing another leak down and compression test today and will mess around with it. It's my daily so it's been a little frustrating....

Hey thought I could help with this... My CRV uses a generic VTEC B-series distributor, with the 3 prongs on it. Same one that goes on GSR, ITR, SIR, ect. The only bolt we run on it, is the one that sits in the timing advance/retard slot. And for the harness, we retained my chassis side, chopped off the harness from the factory dizzy (it blew anyways) and basically made a jumper with an OBD0 chassis harness. The only funny thing we had to do was run the tach signal to the port which is found between the brake and clutch cylinder.

So that would intern allow you to run a GSR distributor, with all of it's internals intact, but using a jumper to convert to your chassis harness.

Sweet build regardless, I'm subscribed.

as for your power steering bracket... look for em1/ civic Si -ek bracket, thats what im using...
otherwise, you'll have to hack up parts from crv and gsr to mount the pump then i think 1 bolt will
be hanging but itll be working ok... i think it will be the adjusting part that wont work but if you
could get the em1, then youre good!

good luck, keep us updated!

Like I said I got the distributor working by swapping all the Crv distributor guts into gsr distributor so that's not an issue any longer but thanks for your input

Wasting no time and pulled the head and pistons out. Seems the valve stem seals were shot so will be replacing them with new ones. Didn't want to take any chances and removed the pistons to replace the rings and honed the cylinders today.
Good news is I have crower H beam rods, JE Pistons, 1/2 inch ARP Head Bolts, Block Guard, Aftermarket springs/retainers.
I'm undecided if I should replace the pistons with high compression and just go NA. I could use the money for this rebuild by selling my turbo kit.

Will be replacing timing belt, water pump, oil pump seal, rings, valve stems, etc...
Already replaced valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, rear main, throw out bearing, plugs, distributor o-ring, etc...

Wow! Took it apart 3 months ago from the date listed lol. Machine shop took like 2months with my head FML AND SMH. Oh well...... It's finally running and pulls strong. I'll take it to the track sometime in the near future after I fix a few miscellaneous stuff just to see what numbers I get

Picked up an all black V about 3 weeks ago now, and already itching to do some mods. Subbing this - all things looking good here.

I was iffy on the Yonaka Coilovers(you got a hell of a price) and exhaust but if you aren't having a problem then I guess I should start getting the money together for them.

I'm running those TSX 17x7 and desperately need to go lower....I'll be looking for some show wheels in a bit too, those TL-S wheels are dope on a v.

I also have a b20 swapped ek sedan I've been wrenching on for about 5 months now, hoping to be ready to race it once the cold weather goes away.

I wish I would have seen this when you were having issues with the TB and all, could've told you straight up before it went down - in my EK I just swapped the whole thing to b18b1 intake manifold setup.

Anyway - subbed for updates!
