Default prelude type s intake camshaft on h23 blue top

I was able to get a type s intake camshaft. Will it make problem if i install it in my blue top h23, paired with the stock exhaust camshaft?

no, if your h23a was a pde motor it should already have type s cams in it.

The shop who swapped the motor offered me to install a type-s Cams which I did not accept that time, so I presume I don't have the type-s. Anyway what is a PDE motor?

Assuming I have stock cams, is it safe to install the type-s intake with stock exhaust cams?

PDE is the casting code number that is found on the cylinder head. So, if your cylinder head has PDE cast into the side of it. It already has the type S cams installed.

As mentioned above, if it is a PDE head it came with type S cams stock from the factory, both intake and exhaust. If you do not have the PDE head casting then, yes, it is safe to install type S intake camshaft while running a stock exhaust camshaft.

I would have to check the part numbers, but if I remember correctly, the exhaust camshafts are pretty close in all H22/H23 VTEC variants.
