Default 09 Fit P1172 & P2A00.

I'm not too familiar with cars past 06 lol but I do learn fast. My mom's Fit recently threw p1172 and p2a00 I tried erasing the codes with my scanner they came right back, will try once more and disconnecting the battery. Front what I looked up p1172 is the o2 sensor(primary ?) but I'm not too sure about p2a00. any input is appreciated.

car is as bone stock as they get and is the base model fit 5MT.

Usually if you get a O2 sensor code that will kick off the second one also. Replace your O2 sensor and clear the codes and both should go away.

A box wrench at 22mm is it. If you want to use a socket you would need a long one because they sensor is so long it is too long to put the socket on.

If you have the time use some pb blaster or something like that a few days before to help getting it loose.

All fixed: used a NGK-NTK sensor code has not come back despite some ppl reporting it does ?. Such a pain in comparison to replacing it on my integra lol.
