DIY OEM H.O.P. motorcycle tire changer :)
HELLO ALLL
my buddy showed me some pics of a DIY tire changer and we made one up..
i used all OEM honda parts too.. minus center pipe..threaded rod and nut...
used integra ROTOR as base.. 14" civic steely used PR3 cam gear to center the rod in wheel.. and we welded LS head bolts to nut to make wing nut...lol
this was cool to see the oil boil out of cam gear..
and well i had to get artsy pic with my baby in background..lol

u break the bead using another tool....(2x4's aTTACH TO WALL ON HINGE...LOL)....
u spin wheel down on the center and then u change a tire like u would on car..

thats so ghetto.
i like having free access to a real tire changer (drifting and working with FormulaD has it perks, lol)

That's a motorcycle tire. **** you didn't need half of that stuff. I use a spade shovel to break the bead loose and tire levers to remove the tire. Do that right on the garage floor. We've probably changed 50+ tires this way. Back tires don't last long on a stunt bike.

I still use a machine on our bike tires...
Race slicks are stiff as **** and i'd rather impale myself with a tire spoon than do it by hand
