How do I lower just the rear of my 99 civic
So I put some new shocks, upper balljoints, and stock eg springs on my 99 civic. The ride is nice!! Going over railraod tracks now are a dream!
The rear end sits a tad high for my likings, how can I lower it a bit? I want the car to sit level, like the SI. Will rear si springs work? What set up would allow it come down a bit?
I don't want to lower the whole car, I've been there, done that.
Thanks in advance!

Well if you go to your local parts store the make these small claps that you can squeeze two or three spring rings together to lower the rear

Personally, I'd run cut springs before actually driving with a spring clamp in place, and I would never recommend cutting springs to begin with.

I'm not crazy about the clamp idea either. Anybody know the difference between itr and ctr springs, i have a b series motor, so wieght isn't an issue is it? HMO wants 150$ for ctr shocks and springs, I just bought new gr2s....uughh..

Look into tein springs or maybe eibach springs? You will have to lower a little more than that I think but the only other options is to lower it one of two ways which will blow out the shocks most likely.
cut the spring or heat the spring.
I do not recomend either, just save your money and invest in a good researched based lowering spring and enjoy the satifaction of know that you invested in something that ultimately may save your life by doing what it was designed to do!

Well its kind of hard to lower without changing the springs which will most likely increase the spring rate and end your "Going over railraod tracks now are a dream! " experiences.
The easiest way I see is to use a shock with an adjustable spring perch
