Installing Window Visors On 94 Accord
Well here are instructions and pics on how to install window visors on a 1994 accord. I had no clue how to install them at first but eventually i got the idea so here it is:
Time:
took about 30-45 minutes
Problems:
you might have trouble putting the weatherstrip back!!!
Tools:
*Flathead
*Patience
Notes: I ONLY TOOK PICS OF THE FRONT VISOR INSTALL, BUT THE BACK VISOR INSTALL IS THE SAME PROCESS
Step 1:
Roll down yours windows and have your door open
Step 2:
Next you are going to remove the weatherstrip, i used a flathead to remove it
after that it should look like this
just make sure that you do not take it more down then it already is, if you do it will make it much harder to put back on.
Step 3:
Now that you have removed the weatherstrip, the area where you are going to place the visor should be exposed like this:
the front visors should have 4 clips and they look like this:
these clips are going to fit on the exposed area and is going to look like this :
Step 4:
By now the visor should be on, but not securely because you need to add another clip which should look like this:
some people dont have that extra part if not do not worry about it!!!
after you place them behind the visor clip they should snap on and your visor should be steady now.
Step 5:
your visor should be on now, but the weather strip should be hanging so now your gonna put it back just by pushing it back in place either with a flathead or your hands, i used both i started from the bottom to the top.....it might be a pain to do, but just make sure it goes tightly into place ........
Step 6:
Now you are done and the final results should look like this now:
so hopefully i can help people out with this because i had no clue how to install these suckers....but there you go hope this helps.

OOO Very nice! Thanks for the write-up. Always wondered how they got put on. ADD TO ACCORD FAQ!!!
Do you get less wind noise from the highway/freeway? Thinking of getting some for my coupe. Nice job!

What's that little clip in your hand? Is that the piece that was on the factory window? And not sure I know exactly where the circled clip is.
+1 for the sticky in FAQ

I have mine installed, but I don't remember a little clip that fit behind it? Maybe it's there and I don't know it?

Re: Installing Window Visors On 94 Accord
how did the piece that goes behind the mirror go in, and that rear clip on mine is already attached, is there a way to detach w/o breaking?
I figured out the weatherstrip and it was interesting to see that honda made it standard to have the track in the door for the visors for all models.
I have JDM ones, but does anyone know if the weathertech visors have the same clips as the OEM/JDM ones?

the piece that goes behind the mirror just slides behind it, yeah they can come off without breaking them just slide the back piece(picture that has clip in my hand) either to the right or left....
