My Car Shakes at 65 mph.
97 Accord SE auto. Car was fine at the Rallycross event, and shaked a bit afterwards but not really. My friend that i was following said that his saab 900 shook a lil too but got better afterwards.
It rained the day of the rally about an inch or two and the fastest i got going was 15 or 20 with mud flying everywhere. There was about 1 foot of mud on everyturn. I did 2 runs and then the event was cancelled cause of the rain.
Anyways it shaked a tiny bit on the way back. I thought it must been the mud on the rims that made the balance of each wheel off and i thought would get better after i washed the mud off. I did.
I had to go to Boston the next day and back which is like a 3 hr trip one way. The car was shaking BAD at 50-80 mph. After 2 hours of driving it was only shaking kinda bad at 65-75, but was still shaking. I kept it at 80mph most of the time so it was a smooth ride, but at 70 mph it was the worst.
I dono what the problem is cause all the mud is off pretty much. I thought it might be the tire pressure cause i had to inflate my front tires before the race but i did a hack job so the tech guy would leave me alone OR its prolly is something worse.
Can someone help me out and tell me what's wrong??

Re: My Car Shakes at 65 mph. (amckee)
You may need new front tires...thats what happened to me and my 97 accord....it shook really bad so I got new tires....another thing could be that maybe you have to big of tires for your car...I bought my accord and the tires on it were 2 sizes to big...
