allright, i've got the motor in my coupe (i made custom motor mounts) and i switched out the intake manifold with my obd1 intake manifold (throttle body map sensor instead of what the old integra used and whatnot. i got my tranny to bolt to the d16a1 motor and got the starter to fit. now, what do i have to do to get the distributor to work? i have the d16z6 distributor, and i'm thinking that since all honda motors have the same firing order wouldn't the distributor spark at the right time even if i didn't have some exhaust cam sensor wired in? i could probably adjust the distributor enough to where it sparks when it should, and i think that's all that would keep this engine from working - i havent messed with the distributor yet, i don't know how i would do it, so my motor sits done except for a distributor (the 3 plugs on the head are the same) so really, is there anything else that would make this swap not start up after i do the distributor? everything plugged in except there was no vtec solenoid to plug in...
