M3 style side mirrors on Civic

Re: M3 style side mirrors on Civic
What's wrong with them? Just because they're BMW style? Honda Civic are known to be chopped up and made to look as you please. They're the ultimate play car.
But what I'm more so asking is, how much do you think they'll go for. There's someone on Craigslist selling them and I inquired within, but he told me to shoot them an offer. What would be a reasonable price...any clue?

Because the ones I pulled off of the car were crap. Cheaply made. Low grade plastic. Poor fitment. Crap. I wouldn't pay anything for them.

Btw...they seem to be OEM M3 mirrors, since there are no LED turn signals on them.

Re: M3 style side mirrors on Civic
This is according to the craigslist ad poster in response to my inquiry if whether the mirrors are of high quality(the opposite of what grumblemarc mentioned):"The mirrors are M3 style painted 2000 Honda Civic Si Milano Red non powered, like the ad description states. We had them on a 95 Civic Show car. Price is $80 cash & carry."
They're not even OEM, and they're "non-powered". Lol...wouldn't that suggest that you wouldn't be able to adjust the side mirrors...rhetorical question? LOL I guess they're non-powered because they were on a "show car"? Stupid question number 2? LOL Moreover, M3 mirrors' visibility is poor because they're smaller. I was just contemplating painting my car black and having red side mirrors when I came across that ad. I'm not too sure red side mirrors...especially "M3 style" mirrors would be a great color scheme. Furthermore, I'm looking to do that to a 4dr Civic, and I would have to drill in two holes for placement. From the description, it doesn't seem worth the effort and money to pull off the look I may want. Maybe just wrap the stock side mirrors in Red or forget red side mirrors altogether?
Any opinions on this whole post?

My opinion on this whole post is that 1) there is no real tech here and 2) that if you pay $80 for those painted Ebay mirrors you deserve what you get.

Why is this considered a stupid post? Get off of your high-horses, won't yah. You're on a Honda message board after all. Peeps on BMW boards think you're all clowns. Get real. SMH

Agreed that there is no tech in this thread. It's a "how much would you pay for these" question. There are more appropriate sub-forums for that question rather than the TECH section.
And, OP, you have your answer: there is a 99.99% chance they are cheaply made pieces of junk. Pass on that garbage. Your wallet will thank you. Thread closed.
