Turtle's Return... Pics of build...
Hey Everyone!
Thought I'd posted some pics of my 4 door. This is it at present with new rims...
Enjoy!
Swapped in a JDM B20B with bolt-ons. I've since replaced the old radiator with a PWR radiator and slimline fan. Also in the process of tucking the fuel lines and filter!
Still more future plans for it. Respray, new bumper and some other touches.
Some pics during the tuck and swap...
Sparco Pro2000 seat. Only put it in about a week ago. Makes driving soooo much more fun!
Thanks Chris for the pics!! Your the master of photography! Thanks to Trav (dude in the pics with singlet) for helping me and showing me how to do the tuck! Also thanks to Cam who likes to lend a hand too!! You boys are champions!!
More mods to happen soon too. Will keep updated! Also taking it back out on the circuit in a months time to see how quicker it is with the new motor... Will get pics of that too!!
Cheers!

Re: (turtleEK1)
Just some old pics I found...
When I first got it:
Threw on some other rims, lip and coilovers:
When it was rockin' Fat 5's. Still have them! Probably use them for track now. Had done a major detail on the car too...
Back when I finally got some aftermarket rims... set of Volk CV Pros. Missing the centre caps and centre part painted black. Did some hand polishing of the rim. They're currently in pieces awaiting to get cleaned up and painted. But I've been too lazy
Couple from the track:

Really good. They're the track model, not the street model... So different spring ratings etc. Not exactly street comfort... but hold up well at the track.

Those ones done in the first post and the ones with the Volks are Canon. The rest are randoms... Speak to Chris_F on here... he did all the canon photos.

Re: (turtleEK1)
UPDATE!
The wheel still hasn't gone in yet. Got owned by the dude who sold me the boss kit. So waiting on his refund and the right boss kit coming from somewhere else!
In the mean time... took it back out to the track! Had a blast! So much more fun to drive with the seat and the new motor. Finally overtaking V8's on the straight!
Only thing is... sump gasket started leaking! I knew it wasn't the best seal... but obviously the track just pushed it abit further!!!
Replaced it now... only to find a few of the stud missing and only half studs that were there were loose!!! But all good now!
Couple of pics... (Thanks Tom)
My mates CB:
Will be back on the track again in a weeks time Hoping the new gasket will be fine... still yet to see it if will take a leisurely drive fine. Also getting an alignment done next week!!! Hadn't been done since motor swap and swaybars!! Can't wait!!!
