Filling new AC sanden TR70 ac compressor with ester oil
I am finishing up my AC install with the use of the HCP AC bracket fitting the stock (remanned) sanden TR70 compressor. I have the service manual which calls for 4 ounces of compressor oil (ester oil since converting to R-134), but I don't know where to add the oil.
The compressor body doesn't appear to have a fill plug. It has two holes on the top where you hook up the suction and discharge plumbing, and then a relief valve one the side of the housing.
Does anybody know where you dump the oil in before recharging?

Actually, it was helpful for us. My son and I are about to put a rebuilt Sanden compressor in his project car, and we did not know this.
Just out of curiosity, why should you put it on the larger hole?

While filling with oil you rotate by hand to distribute the oil.
Putting it in the other hole will likely end up shooting some oil out as you rotate.
