Code P0113 cannot find IAT

Code P0113 cannot find IAT
My 2005 Accord SE 2.4 engine is generating a P0113 code. According to the scan tool this is a Intake Air Temperature sensor fault. In visiting the Honda dealer they tell me the 2005 accord 2.4 does not have a IAT sensor. It has a Mass airflow, throttle position and temperature reader?
Can anyone help me to determine what sensor the P0113 code is referring to?
Thanks

What is the temperature reader they are talking about?
I would check the intake arm, intake box, and intake manifold for the IAT sensor. That is where you will find it if you have one.

For 4 cylinder (except SULEV), it would be on the intake tube as shown in the attached picture. For the 4 cylinder SULEV, it is a MAF/IAT sensor, located closer to the air cleaner.

Re: Code P0113 cannot find IAT
We looked at the intake from the air cleaner box to the throttle body. There are three sensors. None are identified by the dealer as an Intake Air Temperature sensor. The question is whether one of the current sensors is the culprit and the scan tool is calling it a IAT sensor when the 2005 model has something else. Example a P0113 error code on a 2005 honda refers to the mass air flow sensor and not the IAT sensor?

I do not have a IAT sensor as shown in your photograph. Does that mean I have the SULEV engine?

It is probable that your Accord is a SULEV. If it doesn't have the IAT in the intake tube like the other picture, I would say that your's has a MAF/IAT sensor.

The pic is exactly what my engine looks like. That sensor is approx $75.00 and I wanted to be reasonable sure before buying it. It was not called a MAP/IAT sensor by the dealer, some kind of "Reader" is I recall.
Thanks

Re: Code P0113 cannot find IAT
Before you buy a new MAF/IAT, go buy a can of the CRC MAF cleaner.
Unplug the electrical connector, remove the two philips screws, then pull out the MAF/IAT, and spray the cleaner on it. Let it air dry and reinstall. Many times they are just dirty.
You can find the cleaner at most auto parts shops like Kragens, etc.
