DA Convert Auto to Manual Seat Belts
Where should i start to convert my DA's Automatic seat belts into a manual one? is there OEM DA ones? or would i have to get them off another car..like a EF? if i do get the seat belts and everything..what about the track for the auto ones? is there something to cover it?

Re: DA Convert Auto to Manual Seat Belts (uses0ap)
Get a complete set from a Canadian or Japanese car.
They came with manual seatbelts.
They get a lil pricey.....But someone will sell you some with the pillars and everything.
The install is a little more complicated....Gotta do some critical welding....ITS YOUR SAFTEY WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!
Then some drilling.....Not as difficult...
Check G2IC.com..... Lots of sellers there.

couldn't say it any better. i've seen sets go for around 250 before shipping just to give you a price range.
honestly i would say is to just keep your auto ones. well if your car doesn't have a bad title. the reason i say that is because acura and/or honda of america have a life time warranty on selt belts, so if anything is to fail and not work properly they'll fix it for free.
i'm not dissing on this, i would love manual belts. but i got kinda used to having auto ones, especially with this click it or ticket law now-a-days. i don't have to worry about it as long as my car is on my belt is on.

Re: DA Convert Auto to Manual Seat Belts (super jdm yo)
Yeah man, I love the automatic belts...makes me lazy. When I drive my truck I expect it to put the seat belt on me too! but it never happens.
PLUS like the guy up there said, if it requires critical welding...I wouldn't risk it! Flying through a windshield will ruin your day.

I kinda agree.
Luckly I consider myself a fairly profcient welder.
I am a big guy... So I figured a few high speed lock up test would show any signs of failure early. No stress fractures, No panel distortion or twisting...
I had bruises for a few days.....I tested both sides this way.
I am extremely confident and have taken my girlfriend with me in the car.
Me Maybe...But I WOULD NOT put her in harms way.
It can be done...Its just not for everyone.
