Re: RSR exhaust (ekslammed)
power gains? what kind of engine u have and any mods ? with simple bolt ons..header..air intake and exhaust.. i would say about 5~7 hp gain and u will experience power loss and torque loss at low rpm

what kind of cat back are u running now with all those mods u mentioned?
without internal engine upgrade.. fuel rail..intake manifold and TB wont make much performance gain and in fact u will lose low end torque instead

Waste of money.

I would focus more on buying a quality header, and then an inexpensive exhaust setup. Gains from exhausts do not vary as significantly as gains from different headers.

Re: RSR exhaust (Padawan)
i dont really care about the gains, i can get one for 100 bucks, thats why i was asking. I really just wanted a sound clip or a picture of of one on somebodys car... why get a more expense header when i plan on turbo soon?

Because you didn't mention your plans for a turbo.
In that case, you'll need to find a clip from a turbocharged car, because the sound and noise level will be dramatically different on an N/A car.

Re: RSR exhaust (ekslammed)
Make sure is stainless steel. I have an RSR on my 95 eg and was told it's stainless, but it's not. The polished tip may be stainless, but not the rest. Other than that I'm pleased with it. It's nice and quiet with mandrel bends.

Isn't the GT2 really loud?? I like the look of the GT2 and how it is straight pipe all the way straight under the car though.

Re: RSR exhaust (crazyguy)
Crazyguy, what kind of performance can one expect from a stock JDM B16A with only a Apexi WS2 exhaust. Would the exhaust actually hurt the overall performance? If so, what engine mods would be required to balance this exhaust? Throttle body? intake? header? cams?
