zc sohc block with pm7 pistons and a y8 head, ????????
hey I need to know quick I putting this set up, on a zc block (sohc) with pm7 pistons (89 integra), on a y8 head. dose any one know if it will clear???? do I have to advan or retard the timing at all???? is any one running this set up.? pls help building block tommorrow, (spun a rod bearing on old block) pls bump if you check it out, thanks

haha wow that was the exact same setup i was running in my ef a while back before i realised how much i love bseries. But regarless slap it together torque everything right and roll out, its a pretty quick motor i beat gsr's and si's.

no. there is no issue with clearance- you can even run a hefty cam with p29 piston/ y8 head and have no issues (as long as the head has not been milled extensively (more than .010) and the block hasn't been decked more than .010
